How to Have Difficult Conversations About Equity, Diversity & Inclusion

Friday, October 15, 2021, 10 AM to 12 Noon

Presenter:

James McKim

Managing Partner of Organizational Ignition and member of several Boards including the Software Association of NH, NH PBS, Economic Vitality NH, and the Manchester NAACP.

We want to have meaningful conversations about potentially controversial subjects so that we can create a more welcoming and just community, but we don't know how to start. James McKim will offer suggestions to begin these conversations in our family and friend groups, our workplaces and in our communities.

Mr. McKim is driven by an intense need to help organizations achieve their peak performance through the alignment of people, business process, and technology. He is recognized as a thought leader in organizational performance, the use of Neuroscience, and Program Management.

Mr. McKim has led organizations such as Hewlett Packard Enterprise, FIRST, Hawkeye Data, LLC, and Digital Equipment Corp to deliver award-winning product launch and performance enhancement solutions that increased company efficiency and revenues.

Mr. McKim has, also, played an active role in the shaping of public policy affecting the Manufacturing, Healthcare and Technology Industries having served on several boards including the Software Association of New Hampshire, NH PBS, Economic Vitality NH, and the Manchester NAACP.

This presentation is open to both NHLA members and non-members and is brought to you by the NHLA Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Task Force and generously funded by a McDonald Grant.
